Special Events for 2010
Join in the fun at Briar Leaf with great golf events all season long. Here are some
highlights of what to look forward to this year.
Saturday, May 1st - One Man Scramble
This event is open to the public with a portion of the proceeds being donated to
the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Plyers will compete in a unique "double mulligan"
format as they try to "go low" in a personal scramble.
Sunday, July 11 - Couples' Championship
We always have a good field for the Couples' Championship each summer. Golf,
food, prizes and spending a day on the course with your favorite golf partner...
Well at least there's golf, food and prizes.
Saturday & Sunday, August 21 & 22 - Junior / Senior Cup Matches
We've upgraded this event to two days! Ryder Cup style competition between the
"youngsters" and the "seasoned veterans" here at BL. Last year's matches went down
to the last foursome and ended with the two teams in a dead heat! Lots of trash talk
and great competition!
The Father-Son - August 8
We said that "The Tradition Starts this Year" when we created the Father-Son in
2009. This year, "The Tradition Continues" as we look forward to another fantastic
day of golf and competition with our sons and fathers. This day was a true
highlight for those who played last year. Join us this season! Part of the proceeds
went to Patriot Golf Day, and with and competition, great food, outstanding gifts
and Scotty Cameron putters for the flight winners, the Father-Son went right to the
top of the list of "must plays" for 2010.

St. Andrews Clubroom available for private parties
The St. Andrews Clubroom is available for your private party. With a capacity of 40ish, the
Clubroom is the perfect setting for birthday, retirement and anniversary parties. If you are interested in hosting your next event in the area's most beautiful private room, please call

Continued Course Improvements
We are nearing completion of our bunker renovation project, and will be replacing the
sand in the fairway bunkers with the new bright colored high-quality sand installed.
We'll also be leveling some the tees and constructing new forward tees on some holes.
Social Memberships
We are continuing to offer Social Memberships here at Briar Leaf.
